I am Monkey Shine, a.k.a. Krista Stevens
In case you're wondering where the name Monkey Shine comes from, it was a nickname my mom called me as a child growing up. It was quite embarrassing as I remember! But after having my own kids, I've realized that the nicknames you give your children are given with much love (even if they are embarrassing for the kid!)
I am a teacher who gets to be a stay-at-home mommy every summer, winter break and spring break. I have a 5-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son. They are the center of my world. I may complain about the messes they make, but I honestly don't know what I would do without them!
I love crocheting and sewing, and hope you will love my creations too! Everything in my shop is made my yours truly, and I strive for perfection. There is nothing in my shop that I wouldn't put on my own children! :)
